It was an amazing day on Wednesday September 23, 2009 when I was blindly introduced to GVO. It was a beautiful day and my intentions was to learn how to build two capture pages for a couple of products I had for the marketplace. So I invited a good friend of mine over, Mr Tazares Thweatt for some insight on the two new websites I was looking to build. In fact, I knew very little about building websites, so I really did need assistance. We went over all the tools I had in place and things I did not set up as of yet. One of the key things I did not have at this particular time was hosting. So before I went to HostGator to purchase hosting services he said, “you might want to take a look at something that was just sent to my email by Daegan Smith. ” He hesitated and then said, ” I know we were supposed to be setting up these capture pages, so I don’t want to throw you off task.” So I replied, ” No problem, go ahead with what you was about to say.” He responded saying, “I do not know too much about it, I just heardf a little of what they were discussing and they were talking about hosting.” I wanted to hear what he had, so he allowed me to listen. So immediately we began browsing for Daegan Smith’s blog and listened to a powerful call with Daegan grilling Joel Therien, the CEO, and some other key trainers with GVO. Hearing the call shifted my total focus from that point forward. It was a no brainer once I heard some of the dynamic things they were discussing in terms of GVO’s pre-launch and how stable they were as a company prior to them launching in the United States, because they previously were based out of Canada. It was indeed one of the best calls I ever heard because Daegaan really went into depth on why he should join GVO, which were some great questions that I knew I would never be able to ask Joe Therien, the founder, personally.
Soon after the call was over we began doing more due diligence, not on the company, but on how to get in contact with Daegan to get started. Mindset was totally not on those two landing pages anymore. GVO came and swept us off our feet because we literally did not expect what we were hearing. Mind you, we were networkers, but without the massive lists that most people had who we were hearing about were involved. People such as Jonathan Budd, Stephen Pierce, Glenn Mosser, Todd Gross, and Frank Kern just to name a few. These were names we marvelled over because we always stayed plugged in listening to these guys and what great worth they bring to the marketplace.
So to be a part of something this large, with these caliber of professionals, at the right time, was like a revelation over me and I immediately took action.
I found the site to get signed up for our $1 trial, but it could have been $500, I still would have joined just to get the knowledge and training. Once I got signed up and was issued my referral link, I knew then I would do great things online.
